In Digital Photography every week I was assigned a new project and for this project I had manually set up the camera and adjust the settings to fit in with the environment I was in while taking the photos. This was one of my favorite projects because I felt like a professional photographer while setting up my camera and directing my cousin. It was really fun taking this photo because it was a random idea that popped up in my mind. I wanted it to look really creepy and from the comments I've received I guess I accomplished it!
We Didn't Start the Fire Project Pt. II
For this project we had to create our own terms and sing the lyrics. Instead of using Billy Joel's We Didn't Start the Fire my group and I used a different song and came up with a rap of all the events that occurred from 1989 til present day. We really worked hard on this project because instead of using the same song we wanted to make it different from everybody else's videos which I think we accomplished.
Journalism
This is an article that I wrote for Journalism about the Community Cares Graffiti Art on the lockers. It hasn't been published yet, but it will come out soon! I chose this piece because I've been working on this article for 2 months by gathering information and interviewing students to get their input on what's been going on. It was a difficult project for me because I'm not really used to writing for the newspaper or even interviewing people to get a lot of info from them, but by taking Journalism and writing this article I've learned the how-tos for writing a good article and getting readers hooked with the first sentence.
